Bledisle Cup Comes to Hervey Bay Wednesday, 19 July 2006 ARU, QRU and Elton Flatley (former Wallabie) Came to Hervey Bay on Tuesday for the Bledisloe Cup Tour. An event mainly for the Junior rugby players of Hervey Bay but a few of the Mariners were asked to come down and help. Thanks must go to Adam Ebert, Trent Devere, Joe Walls and Steve Shine for helping out and making the day run smoothly. The Junior Rugby teams in Hervey Bay are getting bigger and bigger every year and it is good to see so much support from the seniors. The day consisted of a Sausage Sizzle, many rugby activities, photos with the Cup and Elton signing some items. Please see some photos in the photos area. Back to News Index |
